Intellectual Property & Anti-Impersonation Policy

1. Ownership of the Service

Join & Roll is operated by Jeanne Goullieux ("we," "us"). Except for User Content (defined below) and third-party materials we display under license, all rights, title, and interest in the Service — including its design, source code, database of stores and events, and overall look and feel — belong to us. Using the Service doesn't transfer any of that to you.

2. Trademarks

"Join & Roll" and the Join & Roll logo are trademarks of Jeanne Goullieux, currently unregistered and protected under common law (we may seek registration in the future). Don't use our name, logo, or anything confusingly similar to name or brand a product, service, event, group, or business; to suggest an affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement that doesn't exist; or to register a domain name, app name, or social media handle that's identical or confusingly similar to ours. Referring to us by name in a factual, non-confusing way (e.g., "an event listed on Join & Roll") is fine.

3. Your content stays yours

As set out in our Terms of Use, you keep ownership of what you post — profiles, event descriptions, store listings, images, and so on. This policy doesn't change that; it protects your content from being copied or misappropriated just as it protects ours.

4. Don't copy or clone the Service

Except as permitted by law or with our written permission, don't copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise reproduce the Service's design, source code, or database — including bulk or automated collection of store and event listings — to build a competing or copycat product.

5. Don't impersonate Join & Roll

Don't create a website, app, social media account, email address, or any other presence that copies or imitates Join & Roll's name, logo, branding, or design in a way likely to make people think it's operated by or affiliated with us. This includes lookalike login or sign-up pages used to phish for credentials.

6. Don't impersonate other people

Creating an account, event, or store listing that impersonates a real person, store, or organization — or using a name, photo, or identity you're not entitled to use — is prohibited and grounds for content removal and account suspension or termination.

7. Reporting impersonation or a copycat site

If you spot a fake Join & Roll website, app, or social media account, or someone impersonating another user, organizer, or store on the Service, email jeanne.goullieux@gmail.com with what you found, including a link or screenshot where possible. We'll investigate and may remove the offending content, suspend or terminate the responsible account, and pursue other remedies where warranted.

8. Copyright infringement notices

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to jeanne.goullieux@gmail.com that includes:

• Identification: a description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• Location: the specific URL(s) on the Service where the material appears.
• Contact information: your name, address, phone number, and email address.
• Good-faith statement: a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• Accuracy statement: a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you're authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
• Signature: your physical or electronic signature.

9. Counter-notices

If content you posted was removed in response to a notice and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to jeanne.goullieux@gmail.com identifying the removed material and its prior location, including a statement made under penalty of perjury to that effect, your contact information, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec, Canada, and your signature.

10. Enforcement

We review reports made under this policy and may remove or disable access to content, suspend or terminate accounts, and take any other action we consider appropriate — including referral to law enforcement or civil action — in response to violations, consistent with Canada's Copyright Act notice-and-notice regime and, where applicable, frameworks such as the U.S. DMCA.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
