1. What we collect

  • Account information: username, email, display name, bio, avatar, and optional public contact email.
  • Profile content: favorite games and links to BoardGameGeek you choose to add.
  • Store and event data: store details, event listings, and registrations you create or make.
  • Location data: an address or coordinates you enter (e.g. to search "near me" or set a store/event location), or your device's location if you choose to share it via your browser.
  • Usage data: basic technical information (like IP address and browser type) collected automatically to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

To operate the Service: showing your profile and events to other users, matching stores and events to a location you search, tracking event registrations and attendance-based reliability scores, and looking up game details from BoardGameGeek when you add a favorite game or an event's game.

3. What's public

Profile pages (display name, bio, favorite games, and any events you organize) are visible to anyone. Your contact email is only shown publicly if you choose to add one. Organizers can see the registrant list and reliability history for their own events.

4. Third parties

We use Supabase to host our database and handle authentication, and OpenStreetMap to render maps. Game lookups are sent to BoardGameGeek's public API. We don't sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your choices

You can edit or remove most of your profile information yourself from your account settings, including your bio, avatar, contact email, and favorite games. Location sharing for "near me" searches is always opt-in.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
